It covers the purchasing role in implementing best value sources of goods and services as well as developing interlock with key stakeholders and decision makers. The student will learn and apply concepts in category management, strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, structured negotiations, supplier performance management, leadership and change management. The focus of the learning competencies is to increase the purchasing role contribution to bottom-line profitability and industry competitiveness.
